• Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, and timestamps recorded in server logs for security and diagnostic purposes. Retained for up to 90 days then automatically deleted.
• Search Queries: Usernames you enter into our search tool. We do not link these to any personal identity.

• API Providers:API Providers: When you search for a public Instagram profile, our servers may make requests to third-party API providers to retrieve publicly available data. • Upstash Redis: We use Upstash Redis for short-term caching of profile and story data to improve performance. Cached data is automatically expired and deleted after a short period (typically 2–6 hours).

5. Instagram Data We Access

Anon Story Viewer only accesses publicly available Instagram data from public profiles. This means:

• We only retrieve data from accounts that are set to public on Instagram.
• We do not store Instagram content (photos, videos) on our servers permanently.
• Media is proxied on-demand and not retained after the request completes.
• Profile metadata (username, bio, follower counts) is cached briefly (a few hours) to improve performance and then automatically deleted.
• We never access private accounts or bypass Instagram's privacy settings.
• We do not use Instagram's official API and are not an Instagram partner.

• To detect and prevent abuse or misuse of our service.

• Instagram media content: Not persistently stored. Media is proxied on-demand only.
• Contact form submissions: Retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take necessary action.
